Original Vibe Room Tour 2027 is on: @Kenny Chesney has announced a 19-market all-stadium run that launches April 24 at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa and wraps Aug. 28 at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Mass., after completing a two-year stint performing at Sphere Las Vegas.
When we started to talk about touring next year, all I could think about was how good those stadiums feel how loud, how fast, how much energy comes hurling at us. I don't think I knew how much I missed it. And when it hit me, as well watching comments on Instagram and Facebook, I realized: we should make next year be all about the stadiums. So, we did.
Chesney brings along Country Music Association Entertainer of the Year [MENTION:Eric Church] and Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee [MENTION:Sheryl Crow] for the full tour, while East Tennessee artist and songwriter [MENTION:Greylan James] opens every show, and [MENTION:Old Dominion] makes a special appearance in Buffalo. Blue Chair Bay Rum presents the tour, according to the organizers’ press materials reported by FOX 13 Tampa Bay.
Chesney named the run after the original Vibe Room he started on his 2002 tour as a gathering point for musicians, guests and crew members to hang out and connect. “We started the Vibe Room in 2002 as a place for our people – the adults, guests, musicians – to come together, get a drink, hang out, meet up, maybe make some new friends,” Chesney said. “It was a fun place, and I feel like that’s what 2027’s gonna be all about. So what else would we call it?”
In a statement carried by Whiskey Riff, Chesney said: “Our Vibe Room has always been a place at our shows to welcome our friends and family, a place for us to feel at home and connected while we’re out on the road. After two summers away from stadiums, we wanted all of No Shoes Nation to be a part of that special feeling next year. I am so excited to bring The Original Vibe Room Tour to you all next year, joined by my good friend Eric Church along with Sheryl Crow, and Greylan James. We even have Old Dominion making a special appearance in Buffalo. It’s going to be a great summer.”
